What does it really mean to grow from the ground up? For Hasif, it started in Pasir Ris, brewing coffee from home with nothing but passion, persistence, and the belief that one cup could make a difference.

Today, Ground Floor Coffee has found its home in a cosy brick-and-mortar space at East Village – proof that small beginnings can bloom into something bigger.

Hasif’s journey mirrors our own at Wacky Wears. We both began slow and small, building from our homes, growing alongside a community that believed in our stories as much as we did.

This collaboration isn’t just about coffee or clothes. It’s about resilience, creativity, and building from the ground up. Growth may look different for everyone, but it’s something we all experience in our own way.

Our biggest takeaway from this collaboration? Keep growing, stay grounded.

Collaboration Catalog
The full collaboration catalog features two illustrated tees by us. The Growing From The Ground Up Tee (Black) depicts Hasif pulling up his miniature cafe — symbolising his journey from brewing coffee at home to building a cafe space, and the climb it takes to keep going further.

The Life Happens, Coffee Helps Tee (Brown) features a chest illustration of Hasif lounging inside a coffee cup with his laptop which is a nod to his usual day-to-day when he’s not behind the barista machine. Look a little closer and you’ll spot a skateboard in both designs, a subtle detail inspired by one of Hasif’s favourite pastimes.

Each tee comes paired with a matching embroidered baseball cap in Emerald and Charcoal.



Collaboration Drink
A rich, nutty black sesame latte created just for our collaboration launch — available only during the campaign launch at Ground Floor Coffee. To celebrate launch day, tote bags were gifted to the first 30 customers who purchased two drinks, with one of them being the Sesame Noir.
